ScoutDial — Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 19, 2026

ScoutDial is an iOS app for following and scouting Major League Baseball players and teams. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because the app collects very little.

Sign-in is optional

You can use nearly all of ScoutDial — browsing players and teams, scores, standings, your local watchlist, notes, rosters, scouting reports, and live looks — without an account. Data you create stays on your device unless you sign in.

What we collect

We only collect data when you choose to sign in or create content:

What we do not do

How your data is used

Account and content data is used only to provide the app’s features — signing you in and syncing your content across your devices. That’s it.

Where it is stored

Synced data is stored in a Postgres database (Supabase) hosted in the United States, and transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

Third-party services

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and all data synced to it at any time from within the app: Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account record and all associated notes, rosters, reports, and looks from our servers. Content stored only on your device is removed when you delete the app. You can also request deletion by emailing bmhauser@gmail.com.

Children

ScoutDial is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above and post the revised version here.
