Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. Sign-in is optional — the whole app works without it. An account (Apple, Google, or email) only syncs the content you create — watchlist, notes, rosters, scouting reports, and live looks — across your devices.
How do subscriptions work?
Scores, standings, your favorite team, watchlist, and notes are always free. ScoutDial+ ($4.99/month or $39.99/year) unlocks pitch-level analytics, model grades, AI comparisons, widgets, and Live Activities. Pro Scout ($29.99/month or $249.99/year) includes everything in ScoutDial+ plus the full scouting toolkit: report cards, live looks, measurable trends, and depth boards. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple Account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
How do I cancel or manage a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or in the App Store app tap your profile photo → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the current period ends. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I subscribed but the features look locked
In ScoutDial, open Settings → Membership → Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account that purchased the subscription.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: tap the account icon → sign in if needed → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and everything synced to it (notes, rosters, reports, looks). Content stored only on your device stays until you delete the app. You can also email us from your account address and we will delete it for you.
My roster alerts are not arriving
Check that notifications are allowed for ScoutDial in iOS Settings → Notifications, and that Roster alerts is switched on inside the app under Settings → Roster Alerts. Alerts fire for players on your rosters and watchlist; players can be muted individually by swiping their row.
A stat looks wrong
Statistics are sourced from publicly available league data and refresh continuously during games; brief lags can occur. If something still looks wrong an hour after a game ends, email us the player and screen and we will investigate.
Reporting a bug
